The Link Between Hydration and Gut Health Your gut is at the core of your overall well-being, playing a crucial role in digestion, nutrient absorption, and even immune function. Proper hydration is essential for maintaining a healthy digestive system, but not all water is created equal. While sugary sodas and artificial beverages can disrupt gut flora, sparkling filtered water offers a refreshing and beneficial alternative. How Sparkling Filtered Water Supports Digestive Health 1. Aiding Digestion Ever felt bloated or sluggish after a meal? Carbonation in sparkling water can help stimulate digestion by promoting the natural release of digestive enzymes. This mild effervescence can also ease feelings of fullness, making it a great option after a heavy meal. 2. The gentle bubbles can stimulate peristalsis, the wave-like muscle contractions that move food through your intestines, helping to prevent sluggish digestion. 3.
